BBP, founded in 2019, was the brainchild of artist @janelladraws88. An avid fashionista, her original Pinkie Girls were created for the Mother's Day cards she hand-crafted every year for her mother (a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Soririty, Inc.), who suggested she share her Pinkie Girls with the world on t-shirts and other fashion accessories. Viola'! Busy Being Pretty was born!
